(Nashville, Tenn.) November 16, 2007 – Dove Award-nominated rocker, and international superstar Krystal Meyers will be taking her live show to Hong Kong and Guatemala in the coming weeks. On Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1, Meyers will perform back-to-back nights in Guatemala City. After that, Meyers will make the quick, 9,397 mile journey to Hong Kong, for her concert there on Wednesday, December 5. Krystal Meyers’ worldwide album sales exceed 250,000.
In addition, Meyers recently received her first-ever Gospel Music Channel Video Award nomination, for her music video accompanying “Hallelujah,” in the Contemporary video category, adding to her growing list of accolades. The Gospel Music Channel Video Awards, or GMCVAs, will honor the top videos in six genre categories: Rock, Country, Soul, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Latino, as well as the overall Top Video of the Year. GMCVA winners will be determined by viewers and fans through online voting at www.gospelmusicchannel.com, where voters will choose from six nominees in each category, three in the Latin group, that were determined by the amount of airplay the videos received on Gospel Music Channel during 2007. Voting ends Sunday, December 2, 2007. The first-ever Gospel Music Channel Video Awards winners will be announced on-air in a special Hot List: Viewers’ Choice 2007 on Saturday, Dec. 29 at 7:00 p.m. (ET). The special edition of the network’s video countdown series will kick-off GMC’s Best of 2007 Video Marathon, 83 hours of the top videos running through January 2.
